13 Colonies Special Event
Durham District and Amateur Radio Society (DADARS) was proud to participate as a “Bonus Station” for the 13 Colonies Special Event. GB13COL (Ofcom NOV) hosted from the QTH of DADARS (G4EUZ) within Bowburn Community Centre, Durham and offered SSB, CW & Digital Modes for the popular event. As well as the historical connection between our two countries, this will make it more challenging for our Amateur Radio friends across the pond.
During the 2016 event 139,772 QSO’s were logged and numbers are increasing yearly.
